BNV সব কিছু ধ্বংস করতে শৌলের এবং ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মন চাইল না| সেইজন্য তারা অগাগকে মেরে ফেলে নি| তাছাড়া পুষ্ট গাভী, সেরা মেষগুলোকেও তারা জীবিত রেখেছিল| সেই সঙ্গে আর যে সব জিনিস রেখে দেবার মতো, সেগুলোও রেখে দিয়েছিল| ঐগুলো তারা নষ্ট করতে চায নি| যেগুলো রাখার য়োগ্য় নয়, সেগুলোকে তারা নষ্ট করে দিয়েছিল|
KJV But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all [that was] good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing [that was] vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
YLT and Saul hath pity -- also the people -- on Agag, and on the best of the flock, and of the herd, and of the seconds, and on the lambs, and on all that [is] good, and have not been willing to devote them; and all the work, despised and wasted -- it they devoted.

ERVEN Saul and the Israelite soldiers felt bad about destroying everything. So they let Agag live. They also kept the fat cattle, the best sheep, and the lambs. They kept everything that was worth keeping. They didn't want to destroy those things. They destroyed only what was not worth keeping.
